David H. Goldsmith is an owner of GST and serves as its President and CEO. He is a highly experienced and accomplished mechanical engineer, project developer, construction manager and entrepreneur, and was the builder, owner and operator for over two decades of two fossil fuel basedsteam and electric power plants in Western Pennsylvania. He has had a long career overseeing large mechanical and conceptual engineering projects in Europe, the West Indies, Africa, South America and the Far East, as well as the United States through his company, Power Consultants Inc. Projects have included power plants, steel mills, cogeneration facilities, marine and mining facilities, sugar mills, paper mills, oil refineries and textile mills, and clients have included such major companies as Bechtel Corporation, Bethlehem Steel Corporation, China Steel Inc., The Hershey Company, Kraft Foods Inc. and Pennsylvania Power & Light Company. In addition, he has successfully run and overseen more than 20 large mechanical engineering projects throughout the United States and the world. David received engineering degrees in Great Britain from Popular Technical College and Southampton University.
